此次评选结果是根据5000多位各地领导人姓名在人民网、人民日报及其子报子刊自2007年1月1日至2007年12月31日期间出现的频率进行排名得出的数据，是各地领导人受到中央媒体关注程度的真实体现。（注：名单中的领导人职务截止时间为2007年12月31日）

Guangling County’s President Liu Zhengguo listed in
the Top 100 Eye—catching Local Government Leaders
In the just closed activity-- Appraising and Determining the Local Government Leaders Who Receive the Most Attention-- Guangling County’s President Liu Zhengguo was among the 100 local government leaders winning the honorable title. He is also the only county-- level official of Shanxi Province receive the honor.
The activity was organized by People’s Web (under People’s Daily). Among over 5000 candidates, only 100 were qualified with the honor. The result of the activity is based on the frequency or times that candidate’s name appeared in People’s Web or People’s Daily between Jan 1st,2007—Dec 31st,2007, which truly embodies at what extent the candidates receive attentions from central media.
