山西广灵“东方亮”小米又亮相全国“两会”

   2月27日上午,广灵县委、县政府在山西东方物华农业科技有限公司隆重举行“广灵小米”荣供全国人民代表大会、全国人民政治协商大会启征仪式。广灵小米继去年上了党的十七大代表的餐桌之后,今年又要亮相国家“两会”。
  广灵“东方亮”小米自明代即尊为贡米,享誉大江南北。然而当地人只管低头种谷,缺乏品牌保护意识。10多年前,“东方亮”商标被寿阳县一家企业注册,这家企业的商标使用权到期后,2004年4月,“东方亮”商标又被大同市凯迪旅游公司注册。2006年6月,广灵县新一届县委、县政府领导上任后,立足于县情、实情,一边打造绿色农业,一边实施品牌战略。当听说广灵人引以为荣的“东方亮”小米商标竟然被外地抢注时,该县领导从农民的利益出发,从经济发展的大局出发,多次找凯迪公司协商商标回归事宜。凯迪公司被该县领导的诚意和精神感动,遂同意将“东方亮”商标使用权转让给原产地。此后,广灵县大力挖掘“东方亮”品牌的深刻内涵,积极唱响“东方亮”品牌,不断加大宣传力度,同时,扶持发展广灵小米加工销售龙头企业达20余家,申报完成了广灵小米绿色产品认证。2007年,“广灵小米”被国家质检总局认定为地理标志保护产品,并上了十七大代表的餐桌。目前,谷子的种植面积由以前的3.5万亩扩大到现在的5万亩,谷子种植户户均收入8800多元。
  日前,广灵小米已通过“两会”秘书处的审查,作为绿色食品走进“两会”,数量为2吨,由山西东方物华农业科技有限公司提供。东方物华公司是“东方亮”小米回归后,该县招商引资引进的第一家域外投资企业,该公司承载的“东方亮”精米加工及育种种植基地扩建项目已被列入省“两区”开发项目,累计投资3200余万元,高标准地建成2.2万亩“东方亮”谷子提纯复壮基地,建有集清理去石、剥壳、色选、包装等功能于一体的高科技、自动化生产线,年精米加工能力1.8万吨,达产达效后,可辐射带动7347户农户进行谷子种植,为调整当地农业产业化结构,促进农民增收,进一步发展农村经济起到了积极的带动作用。(苏子旭 尉峰)

      On the morning of Feb 27, Guangling Government and Guangling Committee of Chinese Communist Party (CPC) held a grand ceremony at Dongfang Wuhua Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd to launch the supply of Dongfangliang millet for the two sessions. After its appearing on the tables of the representatives for the 17th Session of CPC last year, Guangling’s millet Dongfangliang will be seen again during the 2008 National People’s Congress (NPC) and Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
 
      Guangling Dongfangliang millet has been a tribute to the royalties since dynasty Ming and well-known all over the country. However, because of lack of brand protect awareness, the brand “Dongfangliang” was registered by a company of Shouyang County more than ten years ago. And when the brand’s use right was expired, it was registered again by Kaidi Tourism Service of Datong City in April of 2004. The new session of leadership of Guangling came to their office in June of 2006, based on Guangling’s practical conditions, they built green agriculture on the one hand, on the other hand, they exercised the brand strategy. When they heard of the brand Dongfangliang’s piracy by other external company, and taking both farmers’ interests and Guangling’s development into consideration, they talked to Kaidi Tourism Service for the return of the brand for a number of times. Moved by the sincerity and perseverance of Guangling’ leaders, Kaidi Tourism Service agreed to transfer the brand’s use right to its origin. Thereafter, Guangling spares no efforts to publicize Dongfangliang millet, and support to establish over 20 companies to process and sell Dongfangliang rice, applied for and got the Certificate of Green Food. In 2007, Guangling rice was recognized as Geographic Mark Protection Product by the State Administration for Quality Supervision Inspection and appeared on the tables of the representatives for the 17th Session of CPC. Currently, the growing area of millet has been expanded from the previous 35,000 mus to present 50,000 mus., the growers’ income can reach 8,800 yuan on average.
      Shortly before Guangling millet has passed the examination of the Secretary Office of the two session. Dongfang Wuhua Agriculture Technology Co.,Ltd will supply 20,000 tons of Guangling millet for the sessions. The company is the first external invested enterprise attracted to Guangling after Dongfangliang brand returned to Guangling, and it is engaged in the process of Dongfangliang rice and the construction expansion of seed cultivating base. The company has invested more than 32,000,000 yuan and established high grade Dongfangliang rice base 22,000 mus, owning a 18,000 tons/year production line with multi functions such as de -stones, de-coat, selection and packing. 7347 households of farmers will be attracted to grow millet, the agriculture industrialization will be adjusted, and the farmers’ income will rise.
